At every Mass we sing or say the words of the Ordinary (the unchangeable parts of the Mass), for example, the Gloria; Holy, holy, holy; and Lamb of God.
When we begin the Easter season with the vigil Mass on April 3, we will return to the Mass ordinary we used during the Christmas season—an English version of the Latin setting known as Missa de Angelis–the Mass of the Angels.
We will continue to sing the Greek Kyrie we sing now as well as an English setting of Mysterium Fidei (The Mystery of Faith).
