Mysteries of the Rosary Study Groups

Deacon Scott MaentzParish News

Beginning Thursday, February 23rd, (the day after Ash Wednesday) the Thursday night study group will begin a new class entitled Mysteries of the Rosary. It will entail a thirty-minute video filmed in the Holy Land, followed by a thirty minutes discussion of one page of questions. Then one decade of the rosary will be said.

The first installment follows the Sorrowful Mysteries and includes insights into the life of Christ, theological truths, captivating stories, and breathtaking scenery. Filmed on location in the Holy Land, the Rosary comes alive in the hearts and mind of the participants. There are seven sessions.

There is no homework. There is no cost. The study is being offered three ways:

  1. In person class will be held 6-7:00 pm in Father Henkel Hall or JPII rooms.
  2. Class will also be held via Zoom. Participants will individually watch the video and get together for group participation at 7:30 pm.
  3. People can do the study on their own.
